Detached Equipment
Detached equipment (throwing a glove at hit ball = 3 base award)
Detached equipment (thrown ball = 2 base award)
Pitcher throws it away (as a fielder = 2 base award) "it's not a balk" This is hard to see, watch carefully at the pitcher around 10s into the video. Umpires got it correct, the announcer got it wrong.

Dead Ball area Video - The player steps into the dugout (dead ball area)
Catch/No Catch Video #1 - Don't listen to the commentators...this is NOT a catch by definition.
Catch/No Catch Video #2 - Good example of it being adjudged! It is the umpire's judgment.
- Don't worry about all the wacky stuff going on after, you are looking at the catch. Ask the question, "did he have secure possession?". By the camera angle looking in from the outfield, you can see the ball fall out of his glove, so I would have said "no catch". But I have the luxury of looking at it in slow motion from multiple angles, so you can't fault the umpires. It's not an easy call.
- Do not discount the possibility of infield fly on this one either. "Reasonable effort" is also a judgement call!
Time Plays
Tag Beats Score - Tag at third base on R2 beats the runner going home R3.
- Great example of time play awareness.
- Great example of 4-man rotation on MLB game.
- Positions can be critiqued but call was spot on.
